Canadian rapper Drake has once again grabbed attention after a viral clip showed him renting out an entire nightclub just to gamble alone while listening to Sabrina Carpenter’s chart-topping hit, “Espresso”.
In the circulating video, the OVO boss was seen playing an online casino game on the club’s big screens while relaxing on a couch in a mink coat. The moment became even more dramatic when confetti rained down as Drake won a round of the game.
Fans have speculated that the stunt might be an advertisement for Stake, a popular gambling company that Drake has an endorsement deal with.
Despite his regular posts showing off his bets on sports and casino games, Drake’s gambling history hasn’t always been lucky. Last year, he lost over $500,000 betting on Tyson Fury in a boxing match, and also lost almost $1 million wagering on Logan Paul’s fight against Dillon Danis.
Reports previously revealed that since 2021, the Toronto superstar has gambled nearly $1 billion in virtual games through the Stake platform.
Meanwhile, Drake could soon cash out big thanks to his investment in Dave’s Hot Chicken, a fast-food chain reportedly set to be sold for over $1 billion.
