“Wait, has anyone ever seen Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s younger kids? They’re ret*rded. No, like literally,” he tweeted—a statement that immediately drew backlash.
As if that wasn’t enough, Kanye doubled down with tasteless remarks about artificial insemination and disabilities, saying, “This is why artificial insemination is such a blessing. Having ret*rded children is a choice.”
The Fallout and Kanye’s Response
After deleting the post, Kanye made it clear he wasn’t apologizing. Instead, he claimed he removed it to avoid getting banned from X.
“Took it down like Down syndrome,” he wrote—another offensive jab that further enraged fans.
He then turned his rant toward Jay-Z and Beyoncé directly, blasting them for “selling out” and accusing them of abandoning their friendship.
