Prominent Yoruba Nollywood actress Dupe Jayesimi has courageously shared her personal struggles with childlessness at over 60 years old. In a heartfelt interview, Jayesimi revealed that one of her greatest challenges stemmed from her mother’s strong opposition to her desire to adopt a child.

“I considered adoption seriously, but my mother’s disapproval was too strong,” she confessed. “If I had not listened to her, I would have adopted a long time ago. I am not fighting with my mum, but I want her to stay clear of me because she’s the cause of my childlessness.”
