Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has revealed shocking details about the dark side of the Nigerian movie industry, claiming that some of his colleagues practice diabolism and engage in blackmail out of jealousy.
“There Was a Bit of Diabolism in the Industry”
Speaking on the Nollywood Hardcore podcast with Emma Labista, Anuku shared his experience, stating that not everyone in the industry had good intentions.
In his words:
“Some people were diabolical, some were envious and jealous of my shine then. I was blackmailed.”
When asked about his relationships with colleagues, he hinted at betrayals and spiritual warfarewithin Nollywood, saying that life comes with “falling down and standing up again.”
