“Reuniting Dom and Brian is a condition,” he says.
Vin Diesel just dropped a major hint that has Fast & Furious fans around the world buzzing — Paul Walker may appear in the final installment of the high-octane franchise.
During an appearance at Fuel Fest in California this past weekend, the 57-year-old star and producer revealed that one of his conditions for doing Fast & Furious 11 was to bring back his beloved on-screen partner, Brian O’Conner, the iconic character portrayed by Paul Walker until his tragic death in 2013.
“The studio said to me, ‘Vin, can we please have the finale of Fast & Furious in April 2027?’”
“I said, ‘Under three conditions.’ First, bring the franchise back to L.A. Second, return to street racing and car culture. Third, reunite Dom and Brian O’Conner.”

How Will Paul Walker Return?
Vin didn’t go into detail about how the late actor will appear in Fast 11, leaving fans wondering whether the film will use archive footage, a CGI double, or perhaps even AI-assisted technology.
Walker passed away in November 2013 during the filming of Fast & Furious 7, and his brothers Cody and Caleb helped complete his scenes through visual effects. Since then, Brian O’Conner has remained a part of the Fast universe in spirit — mentioned in dialogue and honored in key moments — but hasn’t appeared on screen in full since.

The Challenge Behind Fast 11’s Delay
While Fast X was released in May 2023 and was originally billed as part one of a two-part finale, Fast 11has faced multiple delays. Alan Ritchson, who debuted as Agent Aimes in Fast X, recently revealed that the holdup is due to scheduling conflicts.
“You’ve got a lot of guys like Dwayne [Johnson], Vin, Momoa, and myself — everyone’s super busy,” Ritchson told Screen Rant.
“Trying to get the stars to align is a feat of nature.”
Ritchson, who landed his role after Keanu Reeves reportedly dropped out, said he’s eager to return but acknowledged the difficulties of coordinating such a massive cast.

What Fans Can Expect in 2027
If Diesel gets his way, Fast & Furious 11 will take the story back to where it all began: the streets of Los Angeles, where street racing ruled and family was everything.
Whether Paul Walker’s presence is achieved through tech, flashbacks, or a symbolic moment, the emotional weight of “reuniting Dom and Brian” is already hitting home with fans.
The franchise, known for its fast cars and furious stunts, might just slow down one last time — for a heartfelt farewell to the brotherhood that started it all.
