Paddy McGuinness and his ex-wife Christine McGuinness are reportedly finding it difficult to sell their lavish Cheshire mansion — despite it being listed on the market for £6.5 million.
The former couple, who officially split in 2022 after 11 years of marriage, continue to co-parent their three children under the same roof, though Christine has recently revealed that they live “separate lives” within the home.
The luxurious seven-bedroom property — equipped with modern conveniences like a private gym — has been on the market for around four months. However, a source claims there’s been “very little interest” in the property, even though it’s listed as the most expensive house on Rightmove in Prestbury.

“The market seems a bit flat,” the insider explained to The Sun, adding that while the home is stunning and fully equipped, the price tag may be too steep — even for the area.
Earlier this year, Christine, 37, reportedly expressed how “desperate” she was to sell the house and start afresh, revealing her emotional exhaustion from still sharing a living space with Paddy, 51.
In a candid conversation aired on The Shizzio Show back in March, Christine admitted, “We were separated three years ago, and we live separately in a separate home but share a family home.”
Despite the family’s attempt to remain united for the sake of their children, reports suggest Christine is reaching her breaking point. “She’s at the end of her tether and can’t carry on living with Paddy,” a source told The Daily Mail, noting her plans to downsize and invest in smaller properties for herself and the kids once the home is sold.
The former couple had originally pledged to remain under one roof post-split, describing their setup as a “loving family” environment. But with the current situation becoming increasingly strained — and no buyers in sight — their peaceful co-living arrangement may soon reach a breaking point.
For now, the mansion remains unsold — and the former couple’s lives continue in limbo, under the same high-priced roof they once called their forever home.
