Machine Gun Kelly Breaks Silence on Megan Fox Split, Rehab, and New Baby in Emotional Album Confession

Machine Gun Kelly is finally opening up about the heartbreak, mistakes, and redemption behind his shock split from former fiancée Megan Fox — and he’s not holding back.

The 35-year-old musician, who welcomed daughter Saga Blade with Fox in March, is baring his soul on his new album Lost Americana. In one of the most raw tracks, Treading Water, MGK takes full responsibility for the breakup, admitting:

“I broke this home, and just like my father, I’ll die all alone… But I’ll change for our daughter, so she’s not alone.”

The couple stunned fans last November when they ended their engagement amid rumors that Fox, 39 and then heavily pregnant, had discovered flirty messages on his phone. Now, MGK has revealed that the split hit him so hard, he checked himself into a rehab facility in late 2024 — spending Christmas and New Year away from the spotlight.

“I came out, and the world was loud about me and my personal business,” he told The New York Times’ Popcast. “Ironically, neither me nor Megan ever said anything. It’s all claims and things that happened out of our control.”

In the emotional track, MGK paints a picture of love lost and lessons learned:

“The beast killed the beauty; the last petal fell from the rose. I loved you truly, that’s why it’s hard to let go.”

Despite the pain, the Cliché hitmaker had nothing but praise for Fox, calling her “a great mom” during a recent Today Show appearance. And while the two have been spotted vacationing in Costa Rica with baby Saga — sparking rumors of a rekindled romance — they haven’t officially confirmed anything.

MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, is also dad to 16-year-old Casie from a previous relationship, while Fox shares three sons with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.

And in true rockstar fashion, he revealed that Saga seemed determined to arrive on her own timeline:

“My baby was like, ‘Nah, dad, you’re going to finish the album first.’ She was waiting for the intro, damn.”

From heartbreak to hope, Lost Americana is shaping up to be MGK’s most personal and unfiltered project yet — and fans are bracing for the emotional rollercoaster.
