Sam Worthington is proving he’s got the Avatar universe on lock. The 49-year-old star, who returns as Jake Sully in Avatar: Fire and Ash, says following James Cameron’s epic storyline is “very easy” — even if filming started way back in 2017.
Calling the Avatar set his “second home,” Sam admits it now takes him a little longer to channel Jake’s fearless spirit compared to when he was 29, but the thrill is still the same. “Jim raises the bar and gives you the confidence to jump over it,” he shared.
The third installment hits cinemas this December, with new cast members Oona Chaplin and David Thewlis diving right into Cameron’s immersive world. For Sam, it’s all about soaking up the magic in the Volume — and never missing a front-row seat to acting greatness.
