Cardi B on Divorce Delay: “I’m Not Going to Stop Living My Life”
Cardi B has opened up about her ongoing divorce from Offset, revealing why the process has not yet been finalized. In a recent live stream, the rapper stated that her estranged husband is holding up the proceedings because he wants her to pay his taxes and give him one of her properties. “The only reason why I’m still married is because somebody wants me to pay for their taxes,” she said.
Cardi B, who recently confirmed she is expecting a child with Stefon Diggs, made it clear that she is moving forward with her life despite the legal status. “I’m not going to stop living my life because on a contract I’m practically still married,” she stated. She also expressed frustration with being “associated” with her ex, noting she filed for divorce over a year ago.
