Bully 2 Cancellation Blamed on “Bandwidth Issues” by Dan Houser
Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser confirmed why the highly-anticipated Bully 2 sequel never materialized.
Houser, who departed in 2020, cited “bandwidth issues,” explaining that a small lead creative team and senior leadership crew meant “you just can’t do all the projects you want.” This resource constraint, which saw the studio prioritize titles like Max Payne 3 and Red Dead Redemption, ultimately led to the project’s cancellation around 2009. Fans had long speculated about the fate of the cult-classic game’s sequel.
