LeBron James Kai Cenat: NBA Star Cuts Streamer’s Dreads After Historic Milestone

LeBron James Cuts Kai Cenat’s Dreads After Historic Twitch Milestone
LeBron James brought Kai Cenat to the Mafiathon 3 finish line by cutting off the streamer’s signature dreadlocks on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, after Cenat became the first Twitch streamer to reach 1 million subscribers.
The haircut fulfilled a promise Cenat made at the start of Mafiathon 3: if he hit 1 million subs, LeBron would personally shave his head on stream. The historic milestone came just 27 days into the month-long subathon that began in early September 2025.

LeBron James and Kai Cenat first connected in late June 2025 when they livestreamed together at Fanatics Fest in New York City. That initial meeting laid the groundwork for LeBron’s appearance during the Mafiathon 3 finale, creating one of the most memorable moments in streaming history.
Snoop Dogg played a crucial role in helping Cenat reach the milestone, gifting 50,000 subscribers worth $250,000 after Ray J criticized celebrities for not financially supporting the streamer’s historic run. The achievement breaks Cenat’s own previous record of over 700,000 subscribers set during Mafiathon 2 in November 2024.
