DDG and Halle Bailey Drop Restraining Orders, Settle Custody Dispute

DDG and Halle Bailey have reached a temporary settlement in their custody dispute, resulting in the dismissal of the domestic violence restraining orders (DVROs) each had filed against the other.

• Restraining Orders Dropped: Both parties have agreed to drop the DVRO requests, moving toward a resolution after months of legal conflict where both accused the other of physical and emotional abuse. The orders can be reopened in the future if necessary.

• Custody Details: The parents have agreed to a temporary custody schedule for their son, Halo. DDG will have custody on Wednesdays and selected weekends, with Bailey retaining custody for the remaining days. A different, updated schedule is planned for the future.

• Social Media Ban: As part of the temporary agreement, the former couple is barred from publicly disparaging each other or posting their child on social media.

This news follows rapper DDG addressing the issues in his song “17 More Years,” where he expressed a desire to stop the court battles and reconcile their co-parenting efforts.
