The highly anticipated Netflix boxing match between Jake Paul and Gervonta “Tank” Davis, scheduled for November 14 in Miami, has been cancelled.
Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), Paul’s company, confirmed the decision to halt the event after Davis was hit with a civil lawsuit in Miami-Dade County last week. The suit, filed by his ex-girlfriend, alleges battery, kidnapping, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

MVP stated it would not move forward with the event following an internal review of the allegations. Jake Paul, in a fiery social media post, condemned Davis, calling him an “actual walking human piece of garbage” and a “woman abuser.”
While the fight is off, MVP stated that Paul is still planning to headline a different event on Netflix before the end of 2025, with details about a new opponent, date, and location to be announced soon.
