Grammy Awards 2026 Nominations Led by Kendrick Lamar (9 Nods)

The highly anticipated nominations for the Grammy Awards 2026 Nominations were officially announced today, setting the stage for music’s biggest night. Rapper Kendrick Lamar leads the entire field, securing an impressive nine nominations across all major categories. Lamar’s acclaimed album GNX earned him a nod for Album of the Year, making him a dominant force in the 68th annual ceremony. 


Following Lamar closely in the Grammy Awards 2026 Nominations are pop superstar Lady Gaga, and prolific producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut, all of whom received seven nods each. Global sensation Sabrina Carpenter and Bad Bunny tied with six nominations apiece, both competing in all three general field categories: Album, Record, and Song of the Year. Bad Bunny’s Album of the Year nomination for his Spanish-language project Debí Tirar Más Fotos is particularly historic. 


The Recording Academy introduced two new categories this cycle: Best Traditional Country Album and Best Album Cover, reflecting its ongoing commitment to honor a broader creative community. The eligibility period for the 68th ceremony ran from August 31, 2024, through August 30, 2025. Final round voting by Recording Academy members will take place in December 2025. 


The winners of the Grammy Awards 2026 Nominations will be revealed live on Sunday, February 1, 2026. The ceremony returns to the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and will air on CBS and Paramount+. With such a competitive and diverse field, the stage is set for an unpredictable and thrilling awards show.
