Apple iPhone Pocket Issey Miyake: 3D-Knitted Accessory Released

Apple has officially entered the world of high-fashion wearables, unveiling a new accessory called the iPhone Pocket in a striking collaboration with Japanese fashion house ISSEY MIYAKE. The Apple iPhone Pocket Issey Miyake sleeve is a playful, hands-free accessory designed to provide a stylish, simple way to carry your iPhone and other small essentials. It became available for sale on Friday, November 14, 2025, through select Apple Stores and online.

The accessory’s design is rooted in Miyake’s signature minimalist philosophy of “a piece of cloth.” It features a singular, seamless 3D-knitted construction that fully encloses the device. The ribbed, elastic textile allows users to catch a subtle glimpse of their screen through the material when stretched. This collaboration has historical context, given that ISSEY MIYAKE famously designed Steve Jobs’ iconic black turtleneck sweaters.

The Apple iPhone Pocket Issey Miyake sleeve offers diverse functionality, designed to be worn in multiple ways, including wrapped around the wrist, carried handheld, or slung across the body. It is available in two strap lengths and a vibrant color palette, including lemon and sapphire. The short strap variant retails for $149.95, while the longer crossbody version is priced at $229.95.

By blending the heritage of a revolutionary fashion house with its iconic technology, Apple is moving beyond traditional cases and asserting its presence in the luxury accessory market. The new Apple iPhone Pocket Issey Miyake collaboration effectively merges practicality with avant-garde design, offering a limited-edition statement piece that has already drawn parallels to Apple’s cult classic iPod Socks accessory.
