The new facilities are expected to begin coming online throughout 2026.

The initial phase of construction will focus on establishing specialized data centers in Texas and New York, with additional locations across the country slated for future announcements. Anthropic CEO and co-founder Dario Amodei stated that the scale of the investment is necessary to meet the rapidly growing demand from hundreds of thousands of business clients while enabling “continued research and development at the frontier.” The company projects the initiative will deliver a significant economic boost, creating approximately 800 permanent jobs and 2,400 construction jobs across the U.S.
