The highly anticipated fourth “Jumanji” movie has officially begun production in Los Angeles, with the core cast Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Alex Wolff, and Kevin Hart all back on set!
The film, slated for a December 11, 2026, release, has been confirmed by Johnson to be the “big finale” for the modern franchise. The first set images reveal a long-awaited twist: the video game avatars are in the real world, picking up from the cliffhanger of The Next Level.
Johnson also confirmed a touching tribute to original star Robin Williams, revealing his character, Dr. Smolder Bravestone, will wear the dice from the 1995 film as a necklace “as a show of respect and a way of honoring Robin.”
