It’s a Wrap! Spider-Man: Brand New Day Concludes Principal Filming

The web-slinging action is officially in the can! Principal photography for the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe installment, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” has officially concluded. After a continuous 128-day shoot that began in August 2025, director Destin Daniel Cretton and star Tom Holland wrapped filming in London, sending the blockbuster immediately into its lengthy post-production phase ahead of its massive summer debut.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day picks up after the world has forgotten Peter Parker. The film is set to focus on Peter balancing college life and his duties as a “street-level” hero, a narrative shift heavily requested by fans. The massive ensemble cast includes returning favorites Zendaya (MJ) and Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), alongside MCU veterans Jon Bernthal (Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), confirming a huge scope for the Phase Six entry.

The production saw shooting locations in Glasgow, Scotland, before moving to soundstages in the U.K. The wrap comes amid reports that the film’s first trailer is imminent, possibly set to debut alongside the premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash on December 19. This fast turnaround underscores Marvel Studios’ intent to ramp up marketing as the film races toward its theatrical deadline.

With the Spider-Man Brand New Day Wrap complete, the stage is now set for what promises to be one of the biggest films of 2026. Fans can expect a darker, more isolated Peter Parker when the film finally swings into theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
