Nigerian TikTok sensation Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has addressed the buzz surrounding his recent TikTok live session with superstar Davido. Rumors had circulated that the duo raked in a massive $400,000 (about N658 million) from fan gifts, but Peller has set the record straight.
On his TikTok, Peller clarified that they actually received around 300,000 coins, which is just under N1.5 million—not the inflated sum fans assumed. He added that Davido had suggested splitting the earnings, but Peller opted to let the manager handling the session keep the funds.
Peller emphasized that meeting Davido was far more meaningful than any financial gain, saying he valued the recognition and positive energy more than the money. He reiterated this sentiment on X (formerly Twitter), asking fans to stop spreading “fake news.”
In his own words, Peller shared: “You people should calm down with the fake news abeg. The purpose of the LIVE STREAM with the Baddest no be for gifting or game. It was all good vibes and music abeg.
