The 2024 MAMA Awards wrapped up in grand style, celebrating music’s finest across two continents, with ceremonies in Los Angeles and Osaka. Aespa and SEVENTEEN emerged as the biggest winners, dominating the night with multiple accolades.
The awards featured prestigious Grand prizes like Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year, alongside other notable categories such as Best Male and Female Groups, Best Dance Performance, and more. Winners were determined by a combination of judge panel evaluations, digital performance, and physical album sales.
Aespa led the pack with six wins, including Song of the Year for Supernova and Best Female Group. SEVENTEEN followed closely, bagging five trophies, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Seventeenth Heaven.
Other highlights included BTS’s Jungkook securing Best Male Artist and Best Dance Performance for Standing Next to You, while BLACKPINK’s Jennie and IU also took home significant honors. Jennie’s collaboration with Zico, Spot!, added two more trophies to her collection. Meanwhile, the Global Sensation award went to BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars for their viral hit APT., marking Mars’ first-ever MAMA win.
