Since its release on August 8, 2024, Lungu Boy has spent an impressive 15 weeks at the top, marking a milestone in Nigerian music.
This achievement adds to Asake’s growing list of records. In 2023, his hit single Lonely At The Topmade history by becoming the longest-charting number-one song on the TurnTable chart, surpassing Omah Lay’s Godly.
Since his rise to superstardom in 2022, Asake has solidified his place in Nigerian music with successive hits from albums like Mr Money With The Vibes and Work Of Art. His latest album, Lungu Boy, features collaborations with top artists including Stormzy, Central Cee, AnaisCardot, and Wizkid.
