Nigerian singer Asake has reportedly taken full responsibility for his daughter, Zeenat, and has also bought a house for his ailing father, Fatai Odunsi, after facing public pressure.
Mr. Odunsi, who recently made headlines after revealing he suffered a partial stroke, had earlier called on the singer for financial assistance. However, Asake’s family responded by accusing him of neglecting his babymama and daughter, urging him to take responsibility.
Following the controversy, Asake has now stepped up by providing for his father and agreeing to care for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat. In a newly surfaced video, his father confirmed:
“Asake has promised to take responsibility for his abandoned daughter.”
With this latest development, it seems Asake is working towards rebuilding family ties and ensuring the well-being of both his father and child.
