Avengers: Doomsday Filming Officially Wraps
After months of intense production, principal photography for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday has officially wrapped. The film, directed by the Russo brothers, is now moving into post-production with over a year before its scheduled release date on December 18, 2026.
Filming for the highly anticipated blockbuster began in April and included a large ensemble cast, featuring returning favorites like Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Chris Hemsworth, and Anthony Mackie, as well as new additions from the Fantastic Four and X-Men franchises. While the main shoot is complete, Marvel is known for having additional photography sessions, which may occur at a later date.
