Ben Affleck Slashes Price on $60.8M Mansion to Cut Final Ties With Jennifer Lopez After Divorce

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez may be officially divorced, but there’s still one major thread keeping them connected: their massive $60.8 million Beverly Hills mega-mansion. And according to sources, Ben is more than ready to sever that final tie — even if it means taking a multi-million dollar loss.

Ben Wants Out — At Any Cost

Speaking to Daily Mail, an insider revealed that Ben is willing to take a financial hit just to close this chapter with J.Lo for good.

“Ben and JLo slashed the price on their Beverly Hills mansion by $8 million less than what they paid, but this is nothing to Ben,” the source said. “He really just wants this to be sold so that he can cut the final cord that keeps him and Jennifer intertwined.”

Apparently, Affleck was never keen on the home to begin with, and now, following the split, he sees it as a lingering reminder of a marriage that no longer exists.

“This house is the one last thing that is a symbol of their marriage,” the insider added. “He knows Jennifer will always have a presence in his life since their kids are close, but he’s done with this chapter.”

The Cost of Divorce

Affleck’s post-divorce mindset seems to be focused more on peace of mind than money. According to another source:

“His marriage and divorce cost him millions and what’s another couple million? It’s a small price to pay for Ben. He just wants to live his life — a life that, for the most part, has been very fortunate.”

The actor, producer, and director is reportedly ready to move on, focus on what truly matters, and not dwell on real estate losses.

The House That Love Built — And Left Behind

Affleck and Lopez initially bought the estate in 2023 for a whopping $60.8 million and tried to sell it off-market for $65 million. When that didn’t work, they listed it publicly for $68 million last summer. A serious $64 million offer came in from a New Jersey buyer in September 2024, but the deal fell through.

Since then, they’ve slashed the price again by $8 million, resulting in an estimated $855,000 loss — not including transaction fees and maintenance costs.

The End of Bennifer (Again)

Though fans were rooting for a lasting Bennifer 2.0 fairytale, the couple’s split has now moved from emotional to logistical — and the mansion is the last string to cut.

With Affleck reportedly unfazed by the financial blow, all eyes are on when — or if — the home will finally sell, marking the true end of their brief, high-profile reunion.
