Bobbi Kristina Brown has hinted she is to follow in the
footsteps of her late mother, Whitney Houston, by launching a music
career. The 21-year-old claims to have inherited her mother’s voice and teased fans she is preparing to put it to use. She
wrote on Twitter: “Think about it.. She had 1babygirl, lungs and a
GORGEOUS unforgettable voice .. Who do you think ONLY has HER vocal
chords.. ? (sic)” Brown – who’s father is singer Bobby Brown –
retweeted fans who gave her praise, and warned those who questioned
whether she would be able to live up to her mother’s high standards that
she fully intends to. When user TayAmazin wrote: “@REALbkBrown lol girl. NOBODY has her vocals… But I wish you well! I’m excited to hear.(sic)” Brown replied: “You underestimate what she
MADE.(sic)” The young star is also rumoured to be getting help with her career from Mariah Carey and former American Idol judge Randy Jackson. A
source told RadarOnline.com: “Mariah and Randy were close friends of
Whitney’s and were heartbroken after she died suddenly in 2012. They
kept in touch.
“Now Randy has decided he wants to help Bobbi Kristina become a star – and Mariah told him she wanted in, too. “Mariah
would love to step in and provide mentoring to [Bobbi] because she and
Randy have been so close … They have years of music experience between
them and will share all their knowledge with Bobbi Kristina.”
