Bruno Mars is having a spectacular run on the Billboard charts, with three singles currently making waves. The multi-talented artist, known for his genre-blending style, has teamed up with stars from different musical backgrounds, proving his unmatched ability to deliver chart-topping hits.
Mars’ latest collaboration, “Fat Juicy and Wet” with rapper Sexyy Red, debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, marking the biggest new release of the week. The song, despite—or perhaps because of—its provocative nature, has quickly gained traction, giving Sexyy Red her second top 10 hit on the sales-based chart.
While “Fat Juicy and Wet” made a strong entry, it wasn’t enough to dethrone Mars’ other hit, “Apt.,” featuring Blackpink’s Rosé, which holds steady at No. 2. Leading the chart at No. 1 is Lola Young’s “Messy”, which jumped from No. 4 to claim the top spot.
Meanwhile, Mars’ third song, “Die with a Smile” featuring Lady Gaga, slid from No. 3 to No. 4 to make way for the Sexyy Red collaboration.
With 11 career No. 1s on the Digital Song Sales chart, Mars continues to prove why he’s one of the greatest hitmakers of all time. And with “Fat Juicy and Wet” off to a strong start, there’s a chance it could climb even higher in the coming weeks.
