BTS member Jin has reached a remarkable milestone in his solo career as his title track Running Wild debuts at No. 25 on the UK’s Official Singles chart for the week of November 21–27. This marks the highest-ranking solo entry for the K-pop superstar on this prestigious chart.
The achievement surpasses Jin’s previous solo records, including I’ll Be There, which debuted at No. 44 just weeks ago, and The Astronaut, which entered at No. 61 in 2022. Notably, Running Wild also secured the No. 1 spot on both the Official Singles Downloads and Sales charts, as well as No. 6 on the UK’s Official Physical Singles chart.
Released on November 15 as part of Jin’s first solo album Happy, Running Wild showcases a melodic and heartfelt side of the artist’s musicality. The album, which also features tracks like I’ll Be There and collaborations such as Heart on the Window with Red Velvet’s Wendy, reflects Jin’s evolving artistry and experimental approach to music.
In addition to his musical success, Jin has been actively engaging in solo ventures, including his variety show RUN JIN. With Happy achieving both commercial and critical acclaim, Jin continues to solidify his place as a formidable solo artist.
Congratulations to Jin on this incredible achievement!
