Capcom is coming in guns blazing at Gamescom 2025—and fans better be ready for a wild ride.
The gaming giant just revealed its explosive lineup for this year’s show in Cologne, Germany, and it’s a triple treat of world-first hands-on demos: Resident Evil Requiem, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and the long-awaited PRAGMATA will all be playable for the first time on August 20.
With more than 85 demo stations set up, Capcom isn’t just making an appearance—they’re taking over.
Resident Evil Requiem: The Nightmare Returns
The ninth mainline installment in the iconic survival-horror franchise drops February 27, 2026, but Gamescom attendees will be the first to dive into the darkness. Expect heart-stopping terror, upgraded combat, and chilling lore as Capcom pushes the boundaries of fear once again.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword — The Samurai Awakens
Set in Edo-era Kyoto, this stunning action title marks the legendary franchise’s next chapter. Wield the Oni Gauntlet, battle demonic Genma, and embrace swordplay at its fiercest. Launching in 2026 on PS5, Xbox, and Steam, Onimusha is officially back—and fans couldn’t be more hyped.
PRAGMATA: Sci-Fi Mystery Comes to Life
Capcom’s most mysterious IP since its teaser in 2020 finally steps out of the shadows. In PRAGMATA, players explore a lunar research base as astronaut Hugh and android Diana, navigating an eerie world run by hostile AI. With hacking, survival combat, and dual-character gameplay, this 2026 title is shaping up to be one of Capcom’s boldest moves in years.
Bonus Round: Switch 2 Showcases
Gamers will also get hands-on time with Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Street Fighter 6 and Kunitsu‑Gami: Path of the Goddess, further proving Capcom’s push into next-gen hybrid gaming.
More Than Just Gameplay
Capcom’s booth will also include a cinema experience and daily live-streamed content, thanks to Rocket Beans TV. Fans who can’t make it to Cologne can catch the action on Capcom Germany’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
