Chris Brown Shares Heartfelt Gratitude to Wizkid: “My Brother for Life”

Famous American singer Chris Brown has expressed his deep gratitude and admiration for Nigerian superstar Wizkid, stating that he will never forget the kindness shown to him. In a post shared by luthortv, Brown tagged Wizkid as his “brother for life,” recounting a gesture that left a lasting impact.

Chris Brown revealed that despite performing all across America, he hadn’t set foot on a UK stage for over a decade—until Wizkid extended an invitation to his 2021 O2 Arena concert in London. Brown recalled how Wizkid went above and beyond, covering all of his expenses, a move that left him in awe.

“Wizkid invited me to my biggest stage in the UK in 10 years. I had been performing all around America but hadn’t gone there for any show before. One day, Wiz called and told me he was getting everything set for me to come to his O2 Arena concert. He paid for everything, and I was wowed. Wizkid is my brother for life,” Brown shared.

Chris Brown had been banned from the UK in 2009 following his conviction for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna. The UK government denied him entry in 2010, which affected his ability to perform there for a long period. Wizkid’s invitation in 2021 marked Brown’s significant return to the UK stage after years of absence.

This gesture has solidified a special bond between the two global music icons, with Brown emphasizing that Wizkid’s love and support will remain unforgettable.
