D4vd Dismemberment Suspect: Police Source Believes Singer ‘Had Help’

The investigation into the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose decomposed body was found in the trunk of a Tesla registered to singer D4vd (David Anthony Burke) in September 2025, has escalated.

A police source with direct knowledge of the case has alleged to reporters that the singer “most likely had help dismembering and disposing of the body.” D4vd, who was on tour when the body was found, is now reportedly being viewed by investigators as a suspect in what they are treating as an apparent homicide.

The body was discovered in a black bag inside the front trunk of the car after it was towed from a Hollywood Hills street where it had been abandoned for weeks. The cause and manner of Rivas’s death remain “deferred” pending toxicology results, though police sources indicate they are close to concluding the death was a homicide.

D4vd’s legal team has reportedly not been cooperative with the investigation. The singer has canceled his tour dates and removed merchandise since the body was identified. No charges have been filed in the case as of yet.
