Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Davido was spotted among a host of top-tier artists at Asake’s highly anticipated ‘Lungu Boy’ tour concert in Atlanta, Georgia. The tour kicked off on August 16, 2024, at the sold-out 17,000-capacity State Farm Arena and will continue for 10 electrifying days.
A viral video circulating on social media captured Davido backstage with American rapper Quavo, both showing their support for Asake during the live performance. Other notable artists in attendance included Nigerian hitmaker Zlatan and American rapper Russ Millions, adding to the star power of the event.
Asake’s ‘Lungu Boy’ tour is making waves across the United States, with scheduled performances in six major cities. The tour will see him headline prestigious venues, including Madison Square Garden in New York, the Toyota Center in Houston, and the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
The tour comes on the heels of the release of Asake’s latest hit, Lungu Boy, which features an impressive lineup of superstars, including Wizkid, British rappers Central Cee and Stormzy, Travis Scott, and Brazilian singer Ludmilla. The track has already set a new record on Spotify Nigeria, amassing 18.9 million streams in its opening week, surpassing the previous record of 14.4 million streams held by Davido’s Timeless.
