20th Century Studios announced Monday that filming for “The Devil Wears Prada” sequel has begun, coinciding with Anna Wintour stepping down as Vogue’s editor-in-chief after 37 years.
The sequel follows Miranda navigating magazine publishing’s decline while facing Emily, now a luxury executive with crucial advertising dollars. Wintour remains at Condé Nast in a global oversight role.
The film stars Emily Blunt and is set for May 1, 2026 release. Chloe Malle is reportedly the frontrunner to succeed Wintour.
