Drake is keeping the heat on in his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar — and this time, his fans did the talking. During his $ome $pecial $hows 4 UK stop at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena, the crowd broke into loud chants of “F* KENDRICK!”**, a moment that quickly went viral online.
Drake, clearly amused, responded from the stage:
“I can’t say that I don’t agree…”
The moment added fuel to one of the most intense rap beefs in recent memory, which has dominated headlines since Kendrick’s surprise verse on Like That in 2024. The two artists have since traded brutal diss tracks, with Kendrick dropping Not Like Us — where he accused Drake of predatory behavior, an allegation Drake has strongly denied — and Drake hitting back with Push Ups and The Heart Part 6.
Amid the drama, Drake also took time onstage to give fans an update on his next studio album, Iceman.
“I’m working on my album Iceman, we got a lot to talk about,” he told the crowd.
The upcoming record will mark Drake’s ninth studio album, and fans have already gotten a taste with the lead single What Did I Miss? — his first solo drop of 2025. He previously teased the project through a livestream titled Iceman: Episode 1, which featured visuals of him cruising through Toronto, watching old footage, and performing the new track.
Drake’s UK tour with PARTYNEXTDOOR follows the release of their joint tape Some Sexy Songs 4 U, but the Iceman era seems to be shaping up as a more personal, reflective — and combative — chapter.
Meanwhile, the Kendrick beef has crossed over into everything from Super Bowl stages to legal threats. Kendrick performed a censored version of Not Like Us at the Super Bowl halftime show in February, while Drake at one point filed a pre-action legal notice against Universal Music Groupand Spotify, accusing them of defamation and stream manipulation — although he later withdrewthe petition.
The war isn’t over, but for now, Drake’s keeping it moving — and his fans seem ready to ride with him.
