Selfie queen Kim Kardashian loves to snap pictures of herself,
but it looks like she can see the funny side of her obsession too as
the 34 year-old stars in a new T-Mobile commercial set to air during the
Super Bowl 2015. In the advert, which debuted on Conan yesterday, Mrs Kanye West made fun of her vainity obsession as well as other infamous Kardashian assests like her huge butt.
Kim might have built a career on the interest in her private life,
but looks like she’s OK with laughing at her crazy world too and has
turned it into one of this year’s most high profile Super Bowl
commercials. The world’s biggest sporting event, the Super Bowl, where
this year’s half-time show will come from Katy Perry, has a long tradition of iconic adverts and this year Kim K is hoping to have the biggest.
Kim is seen wearing a black crop top with a trouser suit and slicked
hair as she appears with a graphic beneath her reading “Kim Kardashian
West, Famous Person,” she then speaks to the camera in a mock appeal
and says: “Hi I’m Kim. Each month, millions of gigs of unused data are
taken back by wireless companies. Tragic. Data you paid for can be used
to see my makeup, my backhand, my outfits, my vacations and my
outfits. Sadly all lost. Help save the data.”
As she mentions each of the scenarios she is shows taking
selfies in the mirror wearing figure hugging nude underwear, in a
tennis outfit, inside her wardrobe and skiing while some emotional slow
music plays in the background as they tease the hashtag
#KimsDataStash.
Kim, 34, excitedly revealed to fans on Twitter on Monday that she
would be starring in the T-Mobile ad as she posted on Twitter to tell
them to watch her appearance on chat show Conan last night if they
wanted to see it ahead of the big game. She wrote: “I have some exciting
news to share today!!!! I’ll be in a Super Bowl commercial for
T-Mobile!!!! Check out Conan tonight! I’m going to share a sneak peek!!!
#TMobile.”
The clip has now hit the internet and it is nothing less than exactly
what you would expect from Kim, there’s cleavage, there’s a bum shot,
there’s selfies galore – and she’s poking fun at herself while
remaining totally serious in the face the entire way through making it
pretty hilarious actually.
