Nollywood actress, producer writer and entrepreneur, Funke Akindele
popularly known as ‘Jenifa’ has bagged two awards at the African Magic
Viewers Choice Awards for Best Television Series and Best Actress In A
Comedy (Movie/Tv Series) for her famous series ‘Jenifas Diary’.The actress beat Tina Mba – Meet the In-Laws, Uche Jombo – Wives on
Strike, Dineo Moeketsi – Mrs Right Guy, Chioma Akpotha – Wives on
Strike, Funke Akindele – A Trip to Jamaica and Omoni Oboli – Wives on
Strike to win the highly coveted award. When giving her acceptance speech, the over joyed
victor thanked the organizers, her fans, management/team, and also
acknowledged her husband’s support and care.

school dropout turned hairdresser, who lives in a backwater town called
