Turkish club Galatasaray has finalized an agreement with Napoli to sign Victor Osimhen on loan for the remainder of the season.
The move comes after the Nigerian international was unable to secure transfers to Chelsea and Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal before the English transfer window closed.
Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Galatasaray will cover Osimhen’s full salary, estimated between €9m and €10m, and will now negotiate the terms of his move with the striker.
Osimhen’s proposed transfers to Chelsea and Al-Hilal fell through due to unmet demands and issues with negotiations. With the player currently sidelined from Napoli’s first-team squad, this loan deal offers him a chance to play competitively in the coming months.
