Harry and Meghan Were Never Asked to Sign Photo Consent at Kris Jenner Party

The confusing saga surrounding why photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were swiftly deleted from Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner’s social media accounts following Jenner’s 70th birthday bash has taken a new turn. Despite earlier reports suggesting the couple checked ‘no’ on a formal media waiver, a source close to the event is now claiming that guests were never asked to sign a photo consent form at all.

The lavish James Bond-themed party, held on Saturday, November 8, saw the Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrive alongside an A-list crowd. Shortly after the event, both Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian shared photos of themselves posing with Meghan and Harry on Instagram. However, the royal couple’s photos were quietly scrubbed from both posts, leading to immediate speculation.

Initial reports widely circulated that the Sussexes, intent on maintaining their privacy, had explicitly declined photo-sharing permission via a consent form distributed at the door. However, a source speaking to PEOPLE magazine refutes the process entirely, clarifying the situation with the firm statement: “There were no consent forms.”

This information suggests that the immediate deletion of the photos was handled quickly and respectfully after a verbal or implied request from Harry and Meghan’s team, rather than a bureaucratic oversight. Regardless of the paperwork involved, the episode underscores the royal couple’s strict stance on protecting their private image, even when attending high-profile Hollywood events hosted by the world’s most media-savvy family.
