Heidi Klum Halloween traditions reached new heights as the supermodel unveiled her elaborate Medusa costume at her 24th annual Halloween party in New York City on October 31. The legendary Queen of Halloween arrived at the Hard Rock Hotel event with husband Tom Kaulitz dressed as a Greek warrior turned to stone. The Heidi Klum Halloween Medusa look featured mechanically animated snakes, glowing green scales, sharp fangs with a forked tongue, and a full-body snake suit complete with a long tail that left guests and photographers stunned.
The transformation required ten hours and a team of fifteen people to complete the intricate Heidi Klum Halloween Medusa design. Award-winning prosthetic makeup designer Mike Marino collaborated on the costume that featured hand-painted details throughout. Klum teased fans for weeks by sharing prosthetic molds and green makeup application videos on Instagram. She told Good Morning America beforehand that she wanted something very ugly and very scary, promising viewers would recognize the mythological inspiration.

Kaulitz perfectly complemented the Heidi Klum Halloween Medusa theme appearing completely covered in cracked gray makeup resembling stone texture. His warrior costume included armor-like details creating the illusion of a lifeless statue frozen mid-battle. The creative couple spent five months planning their coordinated looks. This year marked another spectacular couples costume following their famous E.T. transformation in 2024 that took over a year to create.
The Heidi Klum Halloween Medusa costume continues her tradition of increasingly elaborate transformations since starting her legendary party approximately 25 years ago. Previous costumes included a peacock requiring fifteen additional performers, a giant worm, and a 95-year-old version of herself. The Project Runway host explained she wears elaborate outfits to inspire guests to match her creativity, successfully making the annual bash almost legendary among celebrities and Halloween enthusiasts worldwide.
