“I Feel Like I’m in a Box” – Bella Shmurda Opens Up About the Pressures of Fame

Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has revealed the emotional weight that comes with stardom, saying that life as a celebrity has significantly limited his freedom.

Speaking in a recent vlog interview with Channel Tweety7, the “Cash App” crooner shared that while success has its perks, it also comes with a heavy dose of responsibility and pressure—especially as the primary provider for his family.

“I blew up at the age of 25. I only enjoy the celebrity lifestyle just a little. When I wasn’t a celebrity, I used to be more free and hang out with friends. But now, it’s like I’m in a box,” he said.

The singer also admitted that the constant need to keep up with financial obligations has added to the strain.

“I am the major breadwinner of my family, that comes with a lot of pressure. It’s hard. The money has got to keep coming, if not, I’m in trouble.”

Despite the challenges, Bella Shmurda remains grounded in his vision, stating that he always had a strong belief in his success.

“There’s this feeling. If you are going to make it, you will know and you won’t stop working. Naturally, you will be feeling it.”

His candid comments have sparked conversations among fans about the realities of fame, especially for young stars navigating the industry while carrying personal responsibilities.
