Irv Gotti Confirms Stroke After Photo Leak Sparks Concern

Music executive Irv Gotti has confirmed that he suffered a stroke, following the circulation of a photo showing him using a cane to walk. The image, which leaked online, prompted widespread speculation about his health.

According to TMZ, a representative for Gotti clarified that the stroke occurred six months ago, linked to his ongoing battle with diabetes. The rep denied rumors that the producer is currently using a “walker” or is in a rehab facility, as claimed by fellow music executive Wack 100.

“Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago. He has since changed his diet to healthier options and has successfully made a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility; he is at home with his family, enjoying life,” the rep confirmed.

The speculation began after Wack 100 mentioned Gotti’s condition on his podcast, sharing images purportedly showing the producer during his recovery, including one where Gotti was using a cane. Wack also claimed that Gotti had “lost a lot of weight” during this health scare.

Irv Gotti, known for his influential role in the music industry, had previously opened up about his struggles with diabetes during an episode of Drink Champs, where he admitted to inconsistently taking his insulin. His doctors had urged him to change his diet—a recommendation he has since taken seriously.

This latest update brings relief to fans who were concerned about the state of the legendary producer’s health.
