The original “It Depends” was released July 25, 2025, featuring Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller over production by RIOTUSA and Nico Baran. The track samples the bridge from Usher’s “Nice & Slow,” slowing it down for a more sensual vibe perfect for the sultry collaboration.
Chris Brown brought out Usher during his Atlanta Breezy Bowl XX Tour stop earlier this month, calling him “my brother for life” and “the greatest.” The mutual admiration between the artists made the remix collaboration feel inevitable after Brown’s public praise for the R&B icon.
The “It Depends” remix featuring Usher arrives as both Brown and Tiller continue dominating R&B charts. Next month, Usher will be celebrated as the Legend of Live honoree at the 2025 Billboard Live Music Summit, cementing his influence on contemporary R&B artists like Brown and Tiller.
