Jade Osiberu Teases New Film ‘Half Of Me’ After Announcing ‘Christmas in Lagos’ Release

Nollywood filmmaker Jade Osiberu, renowned for hit movies like Gangs of Lagos and Brotherhood, is back with another anticipated project, Half Of Me. This latest reveal follows her recent announcement of Christmas in Lagos, a heartwarming holiday film premiering this December on Prime Video.

In an October 30 statement, Osiberu shared her excitement for Half Of Me, praising her team and teasing fans with what’s to come: “We shot something special. So, so proud of the entire team that worked on this, from performances to cinematography and production design. Prepare for a feast!” She highlighted the contributions of Director Orobosa Ikp, DP Lucas, and Line Producer Izu Opara, fueling curiosity about this new project.

Earlier this month, Osiberu explained that her recent quiet phase was intentional, as she took a year off to bring her Christmas film vision to life. She described Christmas in Lagos as a “beautiful, heartwarming” film featuring both beloved actors and Afrobeats stars, promising fans a true “detty December” experience.

Half Of Me stars Martha Ehinome, Nancy Isime, and Uzor Arukwe, but Osiberu has kept further details under wraps. Fans are eager to see what the acclaimed director has in store, as she continues to cement her legacy in Nollywood with back-to-back projects.
