Jennifer Lopez may be having a hard time letting go of her past with Ben Affleck, according to a recent report. Despite public appearances suggesting she’s moved forward, insiders claim the star is still deeply attached to her former husband.
A source told In Touch Weekly that Affleck remains a constant presence in JLo’s mind. “She claims to be moving on from Ben, but the truth is quite the opposite,” the insider shared, adding, “She’s still totally obsessed with him.”
According to the report, Lopez even has Google Alerts set up for Affleck’s name to keep tabs on his life—a habit some close to her say might be “unhealthy.” The tipster noted, “Any time she sees their mutual friends, she steers the conversation to Ben and their past relationship.”
It’s not just in conversation. Allegedly, JLo often finds excuses to stop by Affleck’s house, dropping off items to “linger and see what he’s up to,” even directing her chats with Affleck’s longtime friend Matt Damon towards their past romance.
Meanwhile, Affleck is reportedly focusing on his career and children, keeping himself busy and positive. “Ben is much focused on work and his kids and staying busy and happy,” another insider shared with People magazine.
Jennifer and Ben, once one of Hollywood’s favorite power couples, filed for divorce in August. Now, as they work through their legal matters, it seems Lopez’s journey to move on might be more challenging than it appears.
