John Malkovich 100 Years: The Film Locked Away
The unreleased film is an experimental science-fiction short titled 100 Years, written by and starring John Malkovich and directed by Robert Rodriguez.
The project, which carries the tagline “The Movie You Will Never See,” was a promotion for Louis XIII Cognac, which takes a century to age. The sole copy was placed in a high-tech safe, set to open automatically on November 18, 2115. Teasers showing three possible future visions were released, but the final, complete short film, John Malkovich 100 Years, remains locked away.
