Afrobeats superstar Kizz Daniel is celebrating a decade of musical excellence with the release of two highly anticipated singles, Marhaba and We Must, as part of his ongoing ‘Vado At 10’ anniversary festivities. This milestone celebrates ten years of chart-topping hits, international acclaim, and unwavering fan loyalty.
Christian Agadibe, CEO of Artmatazz Media, revealed the news in an exclusive statement to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday.
Cultural Fusion in ‘Marhaba’
Produced by Ramii and Suhel Nafar, Marhaba blends Kizz Daniel’s signature Afrobeats sound with Northern African influences, incorporating traditional music from the region. The song’s title, Marhaba, meaning ‘Welcome’ or ‘Hello’ in Arabic, draws from Kizz Daniel’s experiences in North Africa.
“Kizz Daniel’s ability to craft music that crosses cultural boundaries is on full display here,” Agadibe said. “This track not only resonates with fans across continents but also highlights his unique gift for uniting global audiences.”
Inspiring Resilience in ‘We Must’
Meanwhile, We Must, produced by Ayzed, is poised to become an anthem of determination. Agadibe explained that the track embodies the perseverance and resilience that have defined Kizz Daniel’s ten-year journey in the music industry. Originally intended to feature a UK rapper, Kizz Daniel took on the grime-inspired verse himself after a delay, earning the track its unique credit, ‘We Must – Kizz Daniel featuring Thyself.’
“These releases underscore Kizz Daniel’s versatility and refusal to be boxed in creatively,” Agadibe noted. “His ability to evolve while staying true to his sound has cemented his position as one of Afrobeats’ most influential figures.”
A Legacy of Consistency and Innovation
As Kizz Daniel continues to release groundbreaking music, Marhaba and We Must add depth to his ever-growing catalog, showcasing his growth as an artist. “With each release, Kizz Daniel raises the bar for Afrobeats, inspiring both peers and upcoming artists,” Agadibe added.
These singles mark another significant chapter in Kizz Daniel’s illustrious career, further proving his artistic consistency, adaptability, and global relevance in the ever-expanding Afrobeats movement.
