Nigerian dancer Lil Smart has officially filed a petition against Marlian Records boss, Naira Marley, and singer Zinoleesky, alleging threats to his life. This comes after he took to social media on December 9, 2024, to alert the public about the alleged threats and to hold the duo accountable if harm were to come to him.
Lil Smart shared videos and photos purportedly showing Zinoleesky and others chasing him. However, Zinoleesky denied the allegations, dismissing them as “clout chasing.”
In a recent Instagram post, Lil Smart confirmed that he has submitted his petition to the authorities, along with what he describes as compelling evidence. The dancer claims this is not the first time he has experienced bullying from the Marlian Records duo but lacked proof to act legally in the past.
“This is not the first or third time I have been experiencing this bullying. But I didn’t have enough evidence to face the law. Now, I thank God that I have very good evidence, and I will put everything I have in line to make sure this bullying and threat to life is stopped,” Lil Smart stated.
He expressed hope that justice would prevail and that no one is “too big” to face the consequences of their actions. “By God’s grace, the law that binds us as citizens of Nigeria will make sure I get the justice I deserve.”
As of now, Naira Marley has not responded to the allegations. This development follows a string of controversies surrounding the Marlian Records label in recent times.
