Meek Mill Shuts Down Claims of Being Extorted by Rapper Luce Cannon

Meek Mill has denied allegations made by incarcerated rapper Luce Cannon, who claimed that he and others once confronted Meek at a club and forced him to call Rick Ross to pay a $50,000 ransom.

The claim resurfaced after Luce Cannon was arrested in the Eugene ‘Big U’ Henley Jr. RICO case, which involves serious charges like racketeering, extortion, fraud, and even murder. Akademiks TV posted a clip from a past episode of DJ Akademiks’ Off the Record podcast, where Luce claimed to have pressed Meek Mill over “reckless” tweets.

Meek Mill’s Response

Meek took to X (formerly Twitter) to set the record straight, saying he has never met Luce Cannonand dismissing the claims as fabrication.

“This guy must be using a story to confuse his indictment because I never seen him B4,” Meek wrote. “I woulda put him to ‘gods test’ on the spot! I never even met buddy but I don’t ‘negotiate’ with fake thugs.”

Meek further questioned the credibility of the claims by pointing out that none of his chains or watches were ever taken.

Respect on the West Coast

The Philly rapper also emphasized that he has strong relationships in LA, referencing his friendships with Nipsey Hussle, YG, and Mustard.

“Me, Nipsey, YG, Mustard and a few others made sure we didn’t follow the East Coast vs. West Coast narrative! I changed my life by blessings … but I always been down to meet up with ‘fake street bullies’ in abandoned areas where it’s no civilians and take they heart!”

Luce Cannon & Big U’s Legal Trouble

Luce Cannon and Big U are currently facing serious federal charges, including extortion, human trafficking, and the murder of a 21-year-old rapper. The case has sent shockwaves through the hip-hop community, with many distancing themselves from the accused individuals.

Meek Mill’s Stand

Meek’s response makes it clear—he rejects the claims, refuses to engage in street politics, and continues to build bridges instead of conflict.

What do you think? Is this just another case of clout-chasing, or is there more to the story?
