Red Carpet Jewelry

See the rings, necklaces, earrings and other expensive jewelry items celebrities have worn to red carpet events.

Nicole Kidman

Kidman is one lucky lady! Attending
the 2008 Academy Awards, Kidman accessorized her LBD with a jaw-dropping
$7 million necklace created just for her by L’Wren Scott, featuring
over 7,500 diamonds worth an estimated 1,400 carats. It was reported to
have taken 6,200 hours to hand craft.

Heidi Klum

With a 10-carat center diamond worth
over $1 million on its own, Klum’s Lorraine Schwartz 200-carat necklace
made of black diamonds is surely one of the most expensive red carpet
pieces worn on the red carpet. Adding extra sparkle to the Project Runway hostess’ Golden Globes look in 2014 were black diamond earrings and a black diamond ring, also by Schwartz.

Kristen Stewart

Premiering Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 1
in L.A. in 2011, the film franchise’s leading lady spared no expense to
wow on the red carpet. Dressed to the nines in a long, sequined J.
Mendel gown with a sexy thigh-high slit, Stewart accessorized with a
amethyst, diamond and platinum ring by Neil Lane worth an estimated
$38,000.

Jennifer Lawrence

Nabbing a 2014 Best Actress Golden Globe for her work in American Hustle,
Lawrence sparkled in Neil Lane’s elegant black and white art deco
jewelry, including pieces like diamond, jade, coral and platinum
chandelier earrings and four white and black diamond bracelets. The
price tag for Lawrence’s dazzling red carpet accessories: $2.5 million!

Angelina Jolie

Pen in hand, Jolie was ready to sign
autographs for well-wishers as she walked the red carpet with fiance
Brad Pitt at the 2013 Germany premiere of his film World War Z.
On her left hand? The $500,000 16-carat engagement ring Pitt codesigned
with Robert Procop to propose to Jolie with in April 2012.

Anne Hathaway

Cohosting the 2011 Oscars with James
Franco, Hathaway sparkled on the pre-show red carpet wearing a $10
million Tiffany & Co. Lucida Star diamond necklace with an estimated
weight of 94 carats.

Kate Middleton

Prince William’s wife went for the
gold — literally — when greeting well-wishers and posing for
photographs at a presentation of the National Portrait Gallery’s
Olympic-themed exhibit in London in 2012. Stepping out in a blue Stella
McCartney dress and Prada pumps, Middleton’s best accessory was her
$70,500, 18-carat yellow, rose and white gold diamond Trinity de Cartier
necklace that featured five rings as a nod to the Olympics.

Giuliana Rancic

Rancic couldn’t help but gush over
her Forevermark accessory — namely 10-carat diamond stud earrings and a
14.58-carat diamond ring that carried a $3 million price tag — while
hosting E!’s pre-show coverage during the 2014 Golden Globes. “I love
wearing diamonds on the red carpet!” the E! star, who wore Lorena Sabu’s
embroidered orchid tulle ball gown, told viewers.

Jennifer Lopez

Lopez loves her Harry Winston! The
music superstar wasn’t afraid to pile on the bling at the 2011 Golden
Globes, accessorizing her Zuhair Murad gown with a diamond paisley
timepiece cuff (with over 600 diamonds!), a diamond cluster brooch in
her hair and a diamond suspension ring with a 7-carat emerald cut stone,
all worth a collective $2 million. The finishing touch? $3 million
diamond cluster earrings from the jeweler to the stars.

Reese Witherspoon

What a look on Reese! If her sexy
T-strap Calvin Klein Collection gown wasn’t enough to earn her a spot on
2014’s Golden Globes Best Dressed lists, the star sure made up for it
with the $3.7 million worth of Harry Winston jewels — including a
10-carat emerald-cut diamond ring, three stacked diamond line bracelets
and 4-carat stud earrings.

Sofia Vergara

Seven million dollar Sofia! The Modern Family
actress wowed in her cleavage-baring Vera Wang mermaid gown at 2013’s
Emmys, but even more impressive was the $7 million in statement-making
jewels — ruby, sapphire and Colombian emerald earrings, a 21-carat
Asscher-cut diamond ring and a 40-carat Colombian emerald and rose-cut
diamond ring — she wore courtesy of celeb jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.

Carrie Underwood

The country superstar dripped in
diamonds at the 2013 Grammys. Among the $31 million in jewels she rocked
at the music awards show was a statement necklace from Johnathan Arndt
that featured 381 carats of oval, pear, marquis and round brilliant
white diamonds alone. “It was worth more than me,” the singer joked of
the over-the-top accessory.

Cate Blanchett

Snagging a Best Actress trophy at 2014’s Golden Globes, the Blue Jasmine
actress didn’t just impress with her acting prowess. For the annual
film and TV bash, Blanchett sparkled in Chopard jewelry. Among the
pieces she wore included earrings from the luxe line’s Green Carpet
Collection, featuring 11 carats of marquise-cut white diamonds set in a
laurel design and a white diamond bracelet set in platinum that weighed
in at a whopping 35-carats.

Jessica Alba

Celebrity jeweler Harry Winston
loaned Alba this $5.8 million diamond necklace from his Mrs. Winston for
Harry Winston collection for the 2013 Golden Globes. “I felt
glamorous,” Alba told Us Weekly on the red carpet,
where she turned heads in other Winston pieces including platinum and
round diamond stud earrings and a platinum and pear-shaped diamond
cluster ring.

Amy Adams

Taking home a Best Actress trophy for her work in American Hustle,
Adams dripped in more than $8 million of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry at
the 2014 Golden Globes, including a 30-carat Asscher-cut diamond
pendant, a 12-carat rose cut diamond ring and 10-carat diamond earrings
mounted in yellow gold. Admitted the star, who wore a red chiffon
Valentino Haute Couture gown: “[I’m] too sexy for the Golden Globes.”
