The Kardashians have reportedly signed a megabucks deal to keep their reality show on E! for another four seasons. Keeping Up With The Kardashians is a hugely popular series for
the channel and follows the lives of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, their mum
Kris Jenner and their half sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Now, hard-negotiating momager Kris has signed a 100 million
dollar (£64,780,000) deal to keep her family sharing their lives with E!
viewers for another four series, said to be the network’s most
expensive deal to date, according to Us Weekly.
A source claimed: “This has been in the works for almost a year. Kris
is a fierce negotiator. They were not planning on leaving E!, but she
was playing major hardball and threatening to leave. E! needs them.”
Bruce Jenner has not been included in the deal now that he has
split from Kris and will make his exit at the end of season 10 before
moving onto his own E! show, which will document his gender transition.
Kim’s husband Kanye West has also not been included in the deal but is expected to continue making regular appearances.
The family are often involved in other projects for E! outside of
their own reality show – Khloe has presented awards show coverage, Kim
looks likely to be producing future shows, and Kylie and Kendall may get
their own projects on the channel.
