Rapper Blueface Begins Four-Year Prison Sentence at North Kern State Prison

Rapper Blueface has officially started serving his four-year prison sentence, following his transfer from the Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles to North Kern State Prison in central California. TMZ has obtained a new mugshot of the rapper, taken on Thursday as he entered general population at the medium-security facility.

Blueface, known for his chart-topping hits, will now have access to several programs at North Kern designed to help inmates reintegrate into society. The prison offers educational and vocational opportunities, including Adult Basic Education, High School/GED preparation, and job training. Inmates can also participate in religious services, self-help groups, and substance abuse programs.

The rapper’s prison sentence stems from a probation violation related to a 2021 assault charge. Blueface turned himself in earlier this year and has been in custody since January. North Kern staff will assess his background and provide tailored work and educational programs during his incarceration.
